It was a teenager who died in Tuesday’s head-on crash on State Road 57 in Pike County between Petersburg and Oakland City.
According to reports, the victim was a 17-year-old male from the town of Glezen.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. on State Road 57 north of County Road 200 South when two pickup trucks collided head-on.
The road was closed for about two hours while investigators worked the scene.
The driver of the other pickup was taken to a hospital in Evansville. There is no word on that person’s condition.
The name of the teen had not been released as of this posting.
