Two GoFundMe campaigns have been launched to help families affected by separate serious auto accidents in the Lawrenceville, Illinois area.

One fundraiser is supporting Melissa Queen and Kaedan and Brayden Morrison after their vehicle was struck by a semi-truck on March 7.

According to the campaign, Melissa remains in a medically induced coma with multiple broken ribs, a broken arm, and several lacerations. Kaedan suffered a punctured lung, cracked ribs, and a spleen injury. Brayden sustained a fractured elbow, cuts to the face and head, and a damaged liver.

A second fundraiser has been created for Aiden Winningham, a member of the Lawrenceville High School basketball team, who was injured in a separate crash the same day.

Family members say Aiden was initially taken by ambulance to Union Hospital in Terre Haute. After scans revealed serious injuries, he was flown to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

According to the fundraiser, Aiden is being treated for broken ribs, a lacerated spleen and kidney, and internal bleeding.

Both online campaigns are seeking donations to help cover medical and related expenses while the families focus on recovery.
