Vincennes University is reporting final results following last week’s Blazers Give Day.
Blazers Give Day is an annual 24-hour fundraising campaign supporting scholarships, programs, and student needs across the university.
As previously reported, university officials said a 300-thousand dollar gift from Chris and Tom Ernst helped anchor this year’s campaign and establish a new Legacy Fund.
The fund is an unrestricted endowment designed to support the university’s most pressing needs and future initiatives.
The Ernst family also provided a 20-thousand dollar match during the 24-hour event.
The university says the effort raised more than 60-thousand dollars overall during the sixth annual campaign.
Officials say the support reflects continued engagement from alumni, students, and the community.
