The Vincennes University Theatre Program will present “Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit,” a one-act comedy that reimagines classic fairy tale characters in a courtroom-style setting.
The 45-minute production follows a fictional justice system where nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters are divided into two groups—police who investigate crimes and attorneys who prosecute offenders.
One storyline centers on detectives, including a character based on Humpty Dumpty, investigating the destruction of two homes made of straw and sticks, with the Big Bad Wolf identified as a suspect.
Performances will take place at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.
Showtimes are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., with additional performances Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Tickets are free for Vincennes University students, faculty, and staff. Other students are $5, adults are $12, and seniors are $7.
