
Hundreds of voters have already cast a ballot in Knox County ahead of the May primary election.
Early voting is available at the old work release center on North Eighth Street in Vincennes Monday through Friday from 8 to 4.
This Saturday, April 25th, marks the first of two Saturdays when registered voters can cast a ballot on the weekend for their convenience.
Weekend voting will be also offered next Saturday May 3rd from 8 to 3 at the work release center, the Bicknell firehouse, and the Blue Jeans Center in Monroe City.
Several local Republican races are open and contested in Knox County including a four-person race for sheriff. There are also Statehouse races affecting parts of Knox County. On the Democratic ballot, there is one contested race for U.S. Congress.
