The Vincennes Farmers Market will begin its Saturday season this Memorial Day Weekend at the Riverfront Pavilion in downtown Vincennes.
Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, with the market continuing weekly through October. Organizers say around 40 vendors are expected to participate, offering locally grown produce, baked goods, flowers, crafts, and other items.
The market is held at the Riverfront Pavilion at Second and Busseron Streets and operates rain or shine. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Live music is also planned for opening day. Mark and Owen Horton are scheduled to perform from 10 a.m. until noon at the pavilion.
In addition to the Saturday market, the Wednesday schedule will continue throughout the season from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
