The READI 2.0 grant application is due February 23rd.

That was the reminder from Knox County Indiana Economic Development CEO Chris Pfaff (paff) at Tuesday’s Knox County Commissioners meeting.

Pfaff commented on Governor Eric Holcomb’s announcement last week that the Lilly Endowment is investing another $250 million into the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative launched by the state to increase and maintain job and investment commitments.    The state has allocated a half million dollars to be distributed to various multi county regions across the state.

Pfaff talked to the commissioners about where that extra $250 million is going…

Pfaff says the regional committee continues to work on their strategy in applying for READI funds for local project.  Officials from the Indiana Economic Development Commission are making a site visit to Knox County next week.

An online portal where the public can submit project ideas remains live.
