This Sunday is College Goal Sunday.
The free event helps students of all ages and families complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA form, which is an important step in opening the door to financial aid for college.
The application is required for students to be considered for federal and state grants, scholarships, and federal student loans at most colleges, universities, and vocational/technical schools nationwide.
This Sunday, Vincennes University and Vincennes University Jasper will provide prospective students and families assistance in filling out the application.
There have been some changes to this year’s form that allows for the possibility of receiving more aid.
Michael McClure is a Counselor with the VU Financial Aid office and he says a family’s 2022 tax information should be brought to the event and also a fafsa id will be required…
College goal Sunday is at 2pm Sunday in the SIM lab at Updike Hall on the VU campus.
The Vincennes University Jasper location will be at the Classroom Building also at 2-pm.
