Governor Mike Braun has announced a new initiative aimed at expanding innovation and economic growth across the state.

The program, called Iron Nation–Indiana, represents more than $60 million in combined public and private investment. That includes $15 million from the state and more than $30 million from the Iron Nation partnership.

State officials say the effort is designed to connect Indiana companies, healthcare systems, and universities with technology firms based in Israel. The goal is to encourage those companies to establish operations in Indiana and build partnerships with organizations across the state.

Leaders say Indiana’s existing infrastructure, including research institutions, manufacturing capacity, and logistics networks, positions the state to support companies entering the U.S. market.

David J. Adams says the initiative is part of a broader strategy to grow wages and expand economic opportunities by bringing in new business investment.

The program builds on the larger Iron Nation platform, which was created to support Israeli startups during a period of market disruption and has since expanded into broader investment efforts.

Organizers say the Indiana-focused initiative is intended to strengthen ties between the state and Israel while encouraging long-term business development.

Additional details, including partner organizations and future opportunities, are expected to be announced at a later date.
