
The Knox County Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 110th Annual Awards.
Trent Auto Sales has been named Small Business of the Year. The business began in 1971 and has grown into a fourth-generation dealership serving the community.
Ewing Printing Company is this year’s Large Business of the Year. The company was founded in 1918 and continues to provide printing services across the region.
Cindi Daniels will receive the Business Woman of the Year award. She has worked in banking for more than 40 years and serves as a banking center manager in Vincennes.
Angela Holscher has been selected as Educator of the Year. She teaches at North Knox and focuses on science instruction and student opportunities.
Tony Burkhart will receive the C. James McCormick Community Leader of the Year award. He has led Burkhart Insurance Agency for decades and has served on several local boards.
Tim and Linda Yochum will be honored as Public Servants of the Year. Their service includes volunteer firefighting, leadership, and community support.
First City Music Festival has been named Nonprofit of the Year. The organization, founded in 2019, hosts a multi-day event focused on music and community engagement.
The honorees will be recognized at the Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 7, at the Highland Woods Community Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and the ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.
