The Indiana State Fair and Corteva have announced the 2026 Featured Farmers who will be recognized during this year’s fair.
The program includes 15 farm families from across the state, each representing different regions and agricultural products.
The Indiana State Fair runs August 7th through the 23rd in Indianapolis and is closed on Mondays.
Each day of the fair, one of the selected farms will be highlighted, with appearances in the Glass Barn for scheduled conversations with visitors.
Among the featured farms are P.E. Brocksmith and Son Farm of Knox County, which produces corn and soybeans… Greer Farms of Gibson County, which grows soybeans, produce, and watermelons… Fischer Farms of Dubois County, which raises beef, pork, and poultry… and Hasting Plants of Posey County, which produces annual and perennial plants.
Ray Allison, Executive Director of the Indiana State Fair Commission, says the program gives visitors a chance to meet farm families and learn about their work.
A full list of the featured farms and their products is available on the Indiana State Fair website.
